I think some people fail to understand that when you enter a relationship, you’re risking the fact that you will be hurt. Everyone views relationships as something that makes you happy; which is true, but they can also make you really sad. There is always one person in every failed relationship who gets the short end of the stick. You know; unanswered questions. The feeling of “what did I do wrong?”. Hurt. Blame. Disappointment; while the other goes on living their lives. Relationships aren’t always fun and dandy. To stay in one for a really long time takes a huge amount of cooperation from both sides. Without it, it’s doomed to fail.
So next time you’re thinking about getting into a relationship, realize that you may not come out of it as happy as you are getting into it.
